Launched in 2023, an initiative led by World Cup winning captain John Smit, with a 15-strong squad selected from international superstars past, present and future, Avante VSOP is a collaboration with master distillers to create a unique Cape potstill brandy. Distilled at the renowned Oude Molen distillery, the blend includes a 4yo component with caramel and toffee notes, a 5yo component reminiscent of cognac with dark fruit flavours like prunes and apricot, and finally, a 7yo component offering smooth, delicate vanilla notes.
